Safe Photos

So this week we have released Safe Photos App in Portuguese and Spanish( previously was available only in English).

So far, Apple has given us a better position on the Apple Store right after the release of this new version.

I'm so excited about that. We are working for new features and the plan is in the future release also for Android but we have a time constraint at the moment.

Hi, first of all, I just wanna say thank you to the community.

I started to read about the Indie Hackers & Hacker News exactly one year ago and after seeing a lot of people taking the attitude to start a new business even working from 9 to 5 is something that has deeply changed me.

Six months ago I did a lot of research and could find an opportunity in the iOS Apple Store.

I realized most of the "Private media apps" were charging the user for basic features such as PIN + Biometrics authentication and storage.

So I decided to release a new app with a focus in

• Usability
• Free
• Essentials features such as:
  Pin password
  Cloud storage
  Biometrics authentication
  Albums creation

And then I created the Safe Photos with all of these features.

My app monetization is for while Ads and I'm already working to provide some exclusive benefits such as Unlimited cloud and so on.

It has been a long journey since I work from 9 to 5 and I have a huge motivation to create something that can impact millions of people.

You will notice in the app that can be done several improvements in UI, Features, etc.

I couldn't do everything I wish so far due to time constraints, but I will try my best to deliver the best experience and services in this app.

And today I've released the first version of this app.

I'm looking forward to hearing from you guys. Your feedback is essential for me to understand the business better and go one step further.

It took 6 months, but I'm finally done building the minimum viable product for Safe Photos. I worked mostly nights and weekends, and I coded the whole thing in Swift(iOS and Backend) since that's what I'm the most comfortable with. In hindsight, there were a few features I built that probably could've waited until later. But I'm excited to start talking to customers and see what they think about the product so far!

The project is "Waiting for Review" on the Apple Store. I'm looking forward to seeing it available out there!
