SalePops
Your Next-Gen Mobile Deals Discovery App
Hey everyone,
Building a consumer app in 2026 is tough, but building one that relies on thousands of external data sources is a nightmare.
The Problem: The promo code industry is broken. You waste 15 minutes at checkout trying codes that don't work, and the major players have terrible mobile UX.
The Solution: I built SalePops. I wanted to shift the behavior from "searching for deals" to "spontaneous discovery."
To do this, I aggregated data from major affiliate networks (Awin, CJ, etc.) to pull only live, active deals. I wrapped all of that data into a sleek, swipeable feed categorized by lifestyle "Vibes" (Fashion, Tech, Travel).
The crazy part of the build:
Integrating 5,000+ global brands without holding any inventory.
Launching it in 21 countries, 8 languages from Day 1 to make it a borderless app for travelers and digital nomads.
Keeping server costs incredibly low while managing massive daily API ingestions to clear out expired deals.
We officially launched yesterday!
The app is completely free for users, and we monetize via standard CPA commissions on the backend.
I’d love the IH community’s feedback on the onboarding flow, the UI, and the app overall.
