Sales Tool
Manage your Sales Funnel with Ease (and Email)
I’ve been doing lots of reading around the sales process and also got some valuable feedback from users that they need help selling, not a tool in itself. It sounds obvious but I needed to shift to help people sell (their problem is that they don’t sell enough, otherwise they wouldn’t be interested in solving that issue through a Sales Tool).
So it’s about helping sales people define their elevator pitch, ask the right questions (I’m a big fan of customercentric selling) and have a tool that actually has some best practices built in, and nudges you to create your sales process.
So now we have the Sales Tool Box where you can store your key questions (qualification questions), elevator pitch, PPTs (sometimes those are needed!), logo files and templates, delivery box (define your delivery) with cues that help you.
You now could actually just use our Sales Tool to create your sales process, the sales funnel is secondary to the process!
One of the problems of creating a useful sales tool for a company is that employees need to be "in the know" about what sales opportunities are happening, even though they are not the sales person.
However, often it's only the sales person who uses the sales tool on a daily basis.
As Slack is a popular tool for team communication you now can add your Slack webhook URL to your settings in Sales Tool and when a new sales opportunity is created, a notification is sent to Slack so everybody in that channel is aware.
We will look into doing the same for Microsoft Teams and will report back when that is done.

Posting our product to Hacker News got us about 200 page views and three sign-ups which we are quite happy about. The link didn't get any traction (2 points) but that's ok. The audience are small firm CEOs and VPs of Sales so we need to find some sites that cater to that audience.

We needed to manage our sales funnel at my client's business and needed a solution that works well with email as that's what the folks there like to use. So we built it and turned it into a product.
