Sams Digest

After hours of reading and hard work, I sent my first newsletter. It was about Seasonal Cooking. Something I've been passionate about and have done a lot of research on.

I'm super happy with how it turned out, I liked the balance between insights, fun, and actual recipes. I was sent to 106 people and has an open rate of 76%, 33% of the people clicked on at least one of the links (recipes) in the e-mail. I got about 15 great replies afterward. So I consider this a success.
Since the first e-mail, I got an extra 16 subscribers.

I shared a message on Facebook and images of some of the recipes I'd made on Instagram. Which motivated about a 100 friends to subscribe.

This was how I described the Newsletter:
I love cooking and would like to share my enthusiasm with you. I’m not an authority on this; I haven’t had any training or education, but I enjoy discovering new things through the internet. My interests are wide: from “How can I make dishes that taste good?” to “What is the impact of technology on food?”
