I built our products to scratch my own itch and solve problems I was facing in building my business. The products built to sell my products ended up being my primary products.
The company was originally filed as Pippin's Pages, LLC, but this was left over from when I'd primarily been building custom websites. So I changed the name to Sandhills Development, LLC.
Hired my first employee
At this point, the products had gotten too big for me to fully manage by myself.
Launched Pippin's Pages, LLC
I'd spent a couple years building dozens of small WordPress product plugins and continuing site development for a few select clients.
However, I realized I needed to better insulate myself and my family by forming an LLC and making the business more "official".
I started launching products
When I launched the first product in 2010 it was just me building small products and doing freelance website development for clients. I had no expectations of creating a company or doing anything more than what I was doing then.
