Sapatime
Your weekly slice of frontend news
The first issue, in my mind, is supposed to be memorable.
I'm not a native speaker, nor do I have any writing experience so I squeezed everything I got and created something... I cannot forget.
Somehow I managed to suppress my perfectionism, I clicked "Send" and the first issue started being delivered to my list.
Lessons learned:
- Don't underestimate writing.
How can you say you procrastinated without actually saying you procrastinated?
It took me almost a year to build the first version of Sapatime.
A combination of "not now", perfectionism, fatigue, and other distractions is what stopped me from building an email template and a landing page.
Yeah... not proud, but hey... it's done. You can check it out here: https://sapatime.com
Lessons learned:
- Keep yourself accountable. If you can't, find someone that can.
P.S: Huge thank you to miss A. for all the help!

At the beginning of 2020, I started thinking more seriously about this idea that I had...
I wanted to build something that would help me first. Something enjoyable and easy to build. Something that doesn't require a lot of time. Something that cannot fail. Something I can leverage in my career from day 1. Something I can be proud of. And more importantly, something that is relaxing and I can work on after my day job.
A few months went by and I started working on Sapatime, a newsletter for frontend developers.
