April 17, 2019 The first version of Satistime

The first version of Satistime had the to do list and the calendar functions. I thought about what users could need and added these features: Assigning due dates, times and duration for each task, having unscheduled tasks like "I will do this task sometime in May" or "first week of April" and marking a task complete and showing a red flag if the task is overdue.

April 17, 2019 What was the need that led to Satistime?

The to do list tools in the market did not allow me to schedule my to do's. I could set due dates, but no start dates (and times!). This often left me overwhelmed in the morning because I ended up feeling stresses with all these tasks waiting to be done. I tried using calendars but still wasn't satisfied with them because I could not have unscheduled to do's. Plus the calendars don't realize when a to do has gone by unfinished. So I decided to build a to do list combined with a calendar and started using the first version every day. As I started thinking in a more goal oriented way, I felt the need to incorporate a goal tracking function. The main purpose was to identify what tasks you need to do to achieve your goal, schedule these tasks. And see where you stand - both with daily tasks and long term goals. Patrick

April 17, 2019 How did Satistime begin?

I was searching for a time management tool that has it all, but none of the alternatives had all the features I wanted. So I decided to build it myself and started developing Satistime.

About

As a solo entrepreneur, I know how overwhelming running a business can be. I was looking for a tool with a goal planner, tracker, time planner and a calendar but could not find it in the market. So I built one!
