February 15, 2026 Introducing SaveUp

Hey everyone 👋

I’m the solo developer behind SaveUp, a simple app built to help people save money without feeling overwhelmed. I created it because I saw how complicated most budgeting apps are — and I wanted something lightweight, focused, and actually motivating to use.

I’m currently growing it step by step, improving features based on real user feedback. My goal is to make saving feel achievable, not stressful.

Would love to connect with other builders here, share progress, and learn from your journeys. 🚀

Love the idea of making saving less stressful. With financial data involved, trust is everything. How are you validating authorization boundaries around user savings data as you grow?

Thanks! That’s definitely something I’ve kept in mind from the beginning. SaveUp is designed to keep users’ savings data local on their device rather than sending it to a backend, so there aren’t server-side authorization boundaries around their financial data in the first place. As the app grows, I’m trying to keep the architecture privacy-first and minimize the amount of sensitive data that needs to leave the device at all. If I introduce any cloud/sync features in the future, authorization and data isolation will be something I’ll treat as a first-class security concern.

About

I built SaveUp to make saving money simple and stress-free. Most finance apps feel too complex, so I wanted something anyone can use to build real saving habits and see steady progress.
