We just announced Maracaibo Digital - the digital version of a popular strategy board game!
We're so excited about this - it's a game we love and we are big board game fans in general. This started with a cold email in March and we'll now be releasing the game later in 2020.

We have been developing the digital version of an existing board game. We're working directly with the designer and publisher on a contract to finish and release the game in 2020.
We recently demonstrated a full round of gameplay with local multiplayer, which satisfied the milestone for our first payment of $1000!
There will be another up-front payment to come prior to release, and we will then split revenue 50/50.
For a new studio with only one other game in beta (https://hexiconapp.com), we are quite happy with this arrangement as our first client project.

It is official! The letter just came back today. We are now a registered LLC in the state of Delaware.
The whole process took less time than expected - about 3 weeks since filling out the form for Entity Formation. Though we did research what we should do for a couple months beforehand.
