School Twist

After taking a break to revitalize and sell https://www.indiehackers.com/product/ascendly, I returned to School Twist and just brought on a full-time Marketing/Biz Dev Co-Founder. We're prepared for spring or summer re-launch. We're both excited to start telling our story as the tech gets upgraded for broader roll-out.

I've been working on School Twist as a side project for some time, but I recently started as a Veteran in Residence with Bunker Labs - Boston. I've reached MVP, but wanted more daily structure as I take School Twist from a good idea to real company, and I think this incubator will help me get my head out of coding, and to focus more on making this a business.

Bunker Labs has an incubator just for US military veterans (I was in the Air Force). They are a non-diluting program, and they work closely with WeWork, so you get some nice space and a like-minded cohort to work with.

School Twist basically works and we recently passed $1M USD in gross volume (tuition processed by the system). It is definitely viable and valuable, but it is, frankly, difficult to use, and a bit scruffy. We working to making it a Lovable product, which will involve major UX redesign (and backend updates).
So, the market is there, and we have really exciting growth plans, but now we just need to make the beautiful and happy software that the opportunity deserves.
