Custom branded backgrounds for your remote team's Zoom calls
We updated the website to include a better landing page, and we added the ability to upload a photo. We've created over 200 company branded backgrounds for Screen Brander so far. Our goal for the website update is to help our users easily produce a background that looks professionally made.
We learned that people are looking for professional branding for their Zoom backgrounds like we hypothesized. However, we learned that they are also looking to share metrics and branded art in some instances. Our first customers have been from Universities, tele-health, PR companies and digital agencies.
We deployed version 1.0 of Screen Brander and we are currently working on a few feature updates. We'd like for our customers to be able to generate their own screens instantly.
Right now, I put their artwork together in Illustrator or Sketch and send it to them via email.
Soon, customers will be able to download their new branded screen without my help!
I was on Twitter trying to think about the ways we could help the workforce transition to mostly WFH. Then I saw a tweet from someone I follow, who said something about it being a great service idea to make custom Zoom backgrounds for people.
Then I thought, yeah but what if they could make their own branded Zoom backgrounds? Kind of like overlays on Twitch but for your team on Zoom.
It could definitely help hide messy houses, and keep important information on screen for customers to see. In my mind, you could put metrics up, your logo, your name, your email, or even brand artwork/assets.
I could see it moving into video and sticker overlays. It made me really excited and I thought it could be really helpful, especially for parents who are dealing with so much right now. So my husband and I built it over the weekend, and looking for our first customers.
