Animated Screenshots

A few months ago, a potential customer approached me and asked if I supported scrolling screenshots. I answered—no, and said I could develop the feature in a few days if they could wait. But they decided not to wait and abandoned the usage of my API.

And this day, I am planning to build a beautiful landing page directory, so I decided why not to implement animated screenshots and showcase them in the project.

So, meet animated screenshots in ScreenshotOne. There is still a lot of work for improvement, but they started to work. And I am happy to share this milestone.

I send it to my current customers, and many of them have very positive feedback and are going to use the feature.

Have a nice day. Any updates on your project?

    Hey,
That’s honestly a really nice comeback. Losing a user like that hurts, but the way you turned it into a useful feature is impressive. Animated screenshots sound super useful, especially for showcasing real experiences. I’ve been noticing more demand for features like scrolling and dynamic screenshots lately. While exploring, I came across this API as well https://geekflare.com/api/screenshot/ interesting to see how others are handling similar use cases.
Good progress overall, excited to see where you take it next :)

Hi, yes, of course. I use Google Cloud Run for handling scaling. I write Go and Javascript. Why do I need to use proxies?

what happens when someone doing screenshot few times a day or few times in short period of time . the site can ban the request from your service .

How many customers have suggested the animated screenshots feature to justify adding it?

If it was just one customer, then I would focus more on what's at hand and other areas of your product rather than adding a feature that very few people might care about.

As for my product, things have been going smoothly. We are almost ready to launch our stable diffusion API.

Yes, it was one. But I then answered other customers and they were "excited" about the feature.

      I followed you ✋

That's great to hear! Hope you get a surge in customers from the new feature.
