Six weeks ago I had a problem I couldn't stop thinking about. I kept seeing the same pattern everywhere — bloggers, small business owners, solo founders — all knowing they needed to publish content consistently to rank on Google. All failing to do it because writing takes forever, SEO is confusing, and hiring writers costs

a fortune.

So I built ScribeSEO.

WHAT IT DOES

ScribeSEO connects to your blog and social accounts, analyzes your writing style, generates SEO-optimized blog posts in your exact voice, and auto-publishes

to WordPress, Facebook, and X on a schedule. The voice matching is what I'm most proud of. You paste 3 writing samples, ScribeSEO studies your tone, vocabulary, sentence patterns, and habits — then every post it generates sounds authentically like you.

Not like a robot.

- Bolt.new for the frontend (React/Vite/TypeScript)

- Supabase for auth, database, and Edge Functions

- Claude API for AI content generation

WHAT I LEARNED

1. Ship before it's perfect.

I spent week 3 building features nobody asked for. The voice matching, the social publishing, the auto-scheduling — none of that needed to exist for launch. A calendar generator and post writer was enough. Ship the core, learn from users.

2. Stripe webhooks will humble you.

I spent more time debugging Stripe webhooks than any other part of the build. Signature verification, test vs live mode customer IDs, missing webhook events — it's all solvable but give it more time than you think.

3. Claude API is genuinely impressive for voice matching.

I was skeptical that AI could actually match someone's writing style. Feed it enough samples and it absolutely can. The output is noticeably different from generic AI content — which is the whole product.

4. Bolt.new changed what's possible for solo founders.

I'm not a developer. Six weeks ago I couldn't have built this. Bolt.new with Claude doing the heavy lifting made it possible. The future of solo SaaS is wild.

5. The hardest part isn't building — it's the first customer.

The product is live. Stripe is in live mode. Everything works. Now comes the real challenge — finding people who need it and convincing them to pay $9/month.
