Second Brain
Your AI tools keep forgetting. Second Brain doesn’t.
Second Brain is now available as a desktop app for Mac and Windows.
The goal is to make getting started much easier. New users can set up their Second Brain through a guided desktop experience, without Git or terminal commands.
The app also makes upgrading much simpler for existing users. You can connect your current Second Brain, install updates more easily, and keep all of your existing memories.
The desktop app is not a separate or isolated version of Second Brain. Your memory remains available everywhere you already use it, including mobile, Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, and other AI tools.
We’re looking for beta testers to try both the setup and upgrade experiences.

Please share any feedback, especially anything that feels confusing, slow, or harder than it should be.
Every AI tool you use has its own context. None of them talk to each other. So you re-explain yourself at the start of every session — the project, the decisions, the stack.
Second Brain is a self-hosted memory layer that runs on your own Cloudflare account. Your AI tools read from and write to the same memory. When two tools disagree, you decide what’s settled. Nothing overwrites your context without you knowing.

I like that you're treating memory as a consensus problem rather than a storage problem.
Sharing context across AI tools is valuable, but giving users control over what becomes trusted knowledge is what makes a persistent memory layer genuinely useful.

Really like the idea of treating memory as something that needs governance, not just storage. The point about conflicting memories especially stood out—most discussions focus on remembering more, not on deciding what should actually be trusted. Curious to see how this evolves.

I got tired of re-explaining myself to every AI tool I opened. Everything I found stored your context on someone else's server. I built something that runs on your own Cloudflare account and handles conflicting memories.
