Sections Wireframe Kit
A powerful UX prototyping tool for designers
I'm note sure whether its the quarantine rules, the job market crashing, worldwide pandemic or designer being lazy - but it seems to me that the designers market seems to be going downhill (personal opinion).
For this reason we had decided to work around Sections Wireframe Kit and build smaller add-ons and categories based on Sections 2 (latest version). I think it would be much easier to sell smaller portions of the same kit for a lesser amount rather than selling a huge UX kit for twice or even three times the price.
We already had 5 other kits under our belts at this time but Sections Wireframe Kit was still our "superstar" product. Almost all of our kits are compatible for Sketch, Figma and Adobe XD and at this moment all three tools had released major updates and features in their tools.
These updates and new features in Figma and Sketch allowed us to re-visit Sections Wireframe Kit architecture and design build. It was time for a big update which had to include all the latest features from Figma and Sketch.

It had been almost a year now since the launch of Sections Wireframe Kit and it had been a rollercoaster ride to say the least. I personally had not expected such success and recognition, a side project with the intention of just trying out had turned into a brand and product which large companies and well-known designers were utilizing with.
This was the time when we decided to raise the price of our kit, of course it was another risk but once again we wanted to see whether the demand would change if we doubled the price. We had initially started at $28 and raised the price after a year to $48. Surprisingly, the number of monthly product sales did not change, just more money in our pockets! ka-ching!

At this point we had done everything we could to drive traffic to our own platform. It was time for us to launch our products on other platforms and markets to get more traffic and recognition.
In the months of April and May, we had planned out a clear strategy to where we wanted to launch and get featured. First step was on Product Hunt, luckily after many upvotes Sections Wireframe Kit was on the front page with 140 upvotes within 24 hours which was a big deal with for us.
After Product Hunt feature, the remaining platforms was an easy climb up the hill, getting featured on all of markets online.

Couple of months had already passed and our sales and traffic had been growing smoothly over time. On January of 2019 I received an email regarding partnership and licensing deals from a very well-known company based in the United States.
After couple of Zoom sessions I went ahead and signed the licensing deal which again was another big personal accomplishment. This offer proved to our team that we where on the right track and more importantly this proved our place in the designers community that we were doing something right regarding UI/UX projects.

After 2 months of hard work and a lot of research, my partner and I decided to go live with our project. We had no idea how the market would react since this was my first time completing such a project. Designers are usually picky with their designs, colors, typography which put more pressure on me.
Thankfully, after couple of days after going live the feedback was more than what I had expected. Designers and developers loved the UX kit which was primarily focused on prototyping web projects.

I had a partner who was already in the design field and he recommended for me to check out this market. I asked him whether he would be willing to work on a UX kit together for prototyping purposes.
Exactly two months later, Sections Wireframe Kit was available for sale on many platforms and online markets.
