Seedling

I was thinking of some way to help companies raise other than selling profit sharing tokens on Seedling. This led to the idea of a "Rewards Store" for companies raising on the platform. How it works is a company with an active fundraiser can sell random products through Seedling as a way to fundraise. The idea initial came from the story of how the Boring Company sold flamethrowers as a way to get some initial funding for their business.

Decided to dog food Seedling and launch my other side projects on the platform to see if I could raise some money for those while identifying some pain points from a customer's point of view.

1. I'm noticing that the payout process could be improved
2. Right now Seedling offers (Profit Sharing Tokens) as a way to represent rights to a company's profits that you invest in. I need to clarify a bit more of what these tokens entail

It took me about 6 weeks to build the first version of Seedling, I, but I'm finally done building the minimum viable product! I hadn't started my new job yet so I had a lot of time during the day to build. I coded the frontend using TypeScript with a node.js backend because that's what I could build with the quickest. In hindsight, there were a few features I built that probably could've waited until later (Like the react native mobile app that I ended up scrapping). But I'm excited to start talking to customers and see what they think about the product so far!

I've read so many times that you should solve your own problem. One of the main problems I've noticed in my time building products is getting funds to launch or expand your business at an early stage.
