The weekend was fruitful...

I've managed to finish my "Artificial Intelligence - A definition" post: https://www.seeme.ai/blog/artificial-intelligence-a-definition

On the development side, now able to train and use models on iOS locally... Plan to improve in the coming days (automate, integrate, optimise :) )

Lastly, I have been training a couple of image classifiers (dogs, flags, ...) that will be publicly available for everyone on launch...

March 22, 2020 Published our new home page...

I learned that sometimes you need to push the button and see what happens... We launched our new home page and are preparing a series of blog posts about practical artificial intelligence...

Sometimes you need to push and publish.

What do you think about our new page: seeme.ai?

November 12, 2019 Sharing Computer Vision models

After letting users create really good vision models, we set our sights on letting users share them with others. Instead of everyone creating their own image recognition models, we believe the world can benefit greatly by just using existing models that fit your needs...

We're very happy to share that you can now invite others to use your model to make predictions... :D

October 21, 2019 Did a close follow up week with a beta customer

Last week I shared our training notebook to create and deploy a world class image classifiers.
Although I have run this notebook countless times, the feedback I received was tremendously valuable and will have direct impact on how we will improve the notebook to be of even more use to users.

Yay for beta testers!

Next up: Sharing models with other users.

September 27, 2019 On a landing page role

I learned that sometimes you just have to publish...

I added a pricing and contact page. It might not seem like a big deal, but progress and early feedback is key. I still have a lot of questions on how to best get this into as many hands as possible.

September 26, 2019 Solving your computer vision problems...

Might not be a big change, but I've finally updated the landing page to reflect how I intend to solve your computer vision problems.

I've been working on each of the components mentioned there, putting in my sweat and fears, but I'm starting to feel happier about them every day! :)

Just in case you're having any troubles, I can recommend these guys from CHI software, they work with machine learning https://chisw.com/machine-learning , so I guess it might be useful for your project.

July 31, 2019 Actually started inviting beta users...

I created an MVP, and had it sit there... it wasn't perfect, and still isn't. But I need to see if what I'm building is really useful...

They always say "if you're not embarrassed about your first version, you've launched too late"... I don't think I've launched too late on any account...

But... Progress!

July 26, 2019 Submitted iOS app for TestFlight review

It's time to talk to more users and have people play around with it, so I can learn, improve and iterate.

As a technical founders, I see everything that's wrong or missing, but I need to overcome my fear of showing what I have. In doing that, I hope to find joy with people for who I am actually solving their problem.

June 11, 2019 Finished SeeMe MVP

For my one day Deep Learning Day training, I wanted participants to easily deploy their own image classifier, but Google Colab would not let me host a web app, so I created my MVP.

While the training covers the entire step-by-step process, my SeeMe MVP takes care of everything: Just input the things you want to recognize and wait a couple of minutes, no data or code required! You can recognize images in the app (ios/Android), web app or via the API (if you want)...

In my head, it is going to become a market place where you easily consume and contribute AI models for fun and profit... But I have to start at the beginning...
