Diving into the development of selfGPT, I embraced my favorite tech stack: Django for the robust framework it offers, Postgres for its reliable database capabilities, Celery for efficient task queue management, and a selection of ML models to power the AI insights. This combination was my toolkit for transforming the idea of selfGPT into a tangible, functioning product. Each component was chosen for its proven reliability and ability to work seamlessly together, ensuring a solid foundation for building a platform that could handle complex data processing tasks with ease. Starting the coding phase was both exciting and challenging, marking the beginning of a journey to bring selfGPT to life.

I saw friends and people at work getting stuck with lots of data but not knowing what to do because they couldn't code. It made me think: Why can't we all use AI to understand our data better?
That's why I made selfGPT. It's a tool that lets you use AI without needing to know how to code. You can get insights from your PDFs and text files easily. I wanted to make sure anyone could use it, to make their data useful and not so overwhelming.
My journey with selfGPT is about making things simpler and letting everyone get the benefits of AI. If you see a problem around you, maybe you can find a way to fix it too. That's how great ideas start.
