I accomplished this.

I've used Apple Search Ads to promote Selflog. This was so reasonable and good. But this wasn't good enough.

I want to realize 1000 subscribers per month this year.

So I want to focus on promoting Selflog in various ways.

August 30, 2019 Released new version 1.2

I released new version 1.2 of my app "Selflog" https://www.selflogapp.com .

I fixed some bugs and modified some codes to improve performance.

And In this version I added a search function.

When I was using this App I've thought I needed a search function.
So I added the function at last.
Now users can search their data easily.
I hope you'll enjoy it.

I wanna brush up my app more and more from now on, too.
Thanks for your support.

Awesome Kara! Keep going... so great to see the progress. I am also working on a minimal writing app. Different use case/value prop, but love seeing other ideas in the space.

August 18, 2019 Released new version 1.1

I released new version 1.1 of my app "Selflog" https://www.selflogapp.com .

I fixed some bugs and modified some codes to improve performance.

In this version I added a new function.

Users can write down records of each day in my app.
But user had to move to calendar page and select date of today if they wanted to come back to today page before.

I think it's a little inconvenient.
So I added the "Today" button in a slide menu in a main page.

So now user can move to today page easily.
I wanna brush up my app more and more from now on, too.

Thanks for your support.

August 13, 2019 Released my app "Selflog" on App Store

I'd never developed application. But I learned about developing on the internet by myself. And I'm finally done building my application. Before releasing I'd finished building it twice.

At first the app was completed in June. I used the CoreData and Firestore for DB for my app. But it was not user-friendly. So I decided to modify the system.

Next the app was completed again in July. I used the Realm and CloudKit for DB for my app. It was user-friendly. And I developed a function of auto-renewing subscriptions. And I submitted it to Apple for the first time. But my app was rejected. Apple demanded to change a subscription system of my app into non-renewing subscriptions. I sent some messages to Apple reviewer and explained the reason why my app needed auto-renewing subscriptions. But my all my offers were rejected. So I needed to modify my app.

At that time it's a tough time. I was so shocked. But I never gave up. I learned about Apple review and auto-renewing subscriptions on the internet. And I found the way that might enable me to overcome the problem. And I started modifying my app again.

And at last my app "Selflog" https://www.selflogapp.com/ was released on August 13th on Apple store. The app has a function of auto-renewing subscriptions. And I used the Realm and Realm Platform for DB for it. I was so moved and my heart pulsed with pleasure.

May 27, 2019 Start Developing my app "Selflog"

I'm a recording artist and music producer.
And I've kept my record for a long time since when I was young to be productive and creative.

But there was no application to meet my demands. As I've been longing for this application I developed this app "Selflog" https://www.selflogapp.com/ by myself at last.

So I'm the first real heavy user of this app. And this app helps me a lot. So I believe that this app helps a lot of people, too. This is my motivation.

What'd you use to build it?

    1. 2

      Language → Swift5
      Local DB → Realm
      Cloud DB → Realm Platform

But I knew that Realm platform isn't sometimes stable. So now I try to migrate data from Realm Platform to AWS.

Done is better than perfect! 👍
