Marketing tool for food companies that helps them sell more
I have no idea how this will go but I will learn how the market reacts to a higher end price vs free (which was the case since I launched the app on Shopify).
I'm quite nervous about it and feel quite vulnerable. I plan to let this test run for a month and then report back.
The customers have a 7 day trial so it'll be interesting to see how many start a trial and stick with the product.
The approval process was kind of grueling — it always seems to be on app stores. I had to turn off billing just to get it approved as I was getting desperate.
Other competitors had launched on the Shopify App Store and I was playing catch up.
It took around 6 weeks after I initially submitted it the app.
Honestly I didn't feel that this was growing fast enough.
I ended up buying donuts for the co-working space members and had a little "celebration!"

All or most of these 10 were from the waiting list on the marketing site that I had set up in ... October, 2018, I think.
I launched the MVP and used the waiting list to get the first paying customer. $29.99!
The way I did it was set up a demo meetings and run the demo for the customer and then towards the end of the demo close!
I'd ask them to share their screen and send them the sign up link and I'd watch them enter their credit card :D
