Product Build

We started our product build in January of 2021, after raising an initial round of funding and 4 months of product design & market research. Due to size, velocity, and complexity, we decided our best option was to outsource the initial development. We hypothesized that if our CEO & Founder (product designer) was able to lead a team of developers to create a strong product, bringing on a technical co-founder (s) & engineering team would be much easier. Everyone has a good idea, but going from idea to product (with users & traction) would speak for itself..

So, we spent months researching & talking with the top development agencies in order to determine whom could execute our vision at the highest level possible. Experience building large-scale products, quality of code, and transparency were some of the attributes we looked for when evaluating partners. We selected a highly talented & reputable agency in Europe, thus contracting a team of 8 developers, 1 dev-ops engineer, a product manager, and an outside consultant to join our team. Months of planning & design paid off, as development was efficient, our velocity was positive, and we only incurred a few minor hiccups (as expected). Fast Forward to the present, we have much more than an MVP or initial product.
