The part that caught my attention is that sending at scale isn't really the hard part anymore.
The harder problem is making a message still feel like it was worth receiving after people know it wasn't written just for them. That's where products in this space start to separate themselves.
Really good point, and it's the thing I keep coming back to. Bulk delivery is basically solved — the actual differentiator is relevance.
Right now I lean on segmentation (different copy per list) and AI-assisted copywriting to vary tone/angle per segment, plus A/B testing so I'm not just guessing what resonates. But I don't think that's a full answer yet — true 1:1 relevance at scale is a much harder problem than anything I've built so far.
Curious if you've seen products actually crack this, or is it still mostly segmentation + good copy dressed up as personalization?
