August 9, 2026 Building Sendmator : a communication layer for SaaS

I've been building Sendmator to solve a problem I kept running into while building SaaS products: communication infrastructure gets messy very quickly.

Email, SMS, WhatsApp, OTPs, templates, providers, API keys, webhooks, delivery tracking ,every channel has its own setup and complexity.

Sendmator puts all of that behind a single platform.

One of the things I'm particularly focused on is making the integration simple for the applications using Sendmator.

Your application doesn't need to bring or manage external provider API keys.

You integrate with Sendmator once, and Sendmator manages the underlying communication providers, credentials, routing, templates, and infrastructure.

So instead of:

Your App → Provider A
Your App → Provider B
Your App → Provider C

It's:

Your App → Sendmator → Multiple Providers

Currently, Sendmator supports:

  • Email

  • SMS

  • WhatsApp

  • OTP verification

  • Push

  • Forms

  • Templates

  • Scheduling & workflows

  • Developer APIs

  • Node.js SDK

  • React Native SDK

I'm now focused on getting more real users onto the platform, improving activation, and learning what SaaS founders actually need from their communication infrastructure.

So, if you're building an app or SaaS, I invite you to try integrating Sendmator into your product and manage your user communication from one place, from welcome emails and OTPs to payment reminders, notifications, and other lifecycle messages.

You don't need to manage separate provider API keys in your application. Integrate with Sendmator once, and Sendmator manages communication providers.

I'd genuinely love to see what you're building and get your feedback.

Still early, but I'm excited about where it's going.

If you're building a SaaS, I'd love to know how you're currently handling email, SMS, WhatsApp, and other customer communications.

The interesting tension is that Sendmator is removing infrastructure complexity while simultaneously expanding the number of communication jobs it can handle.

That creates a subtle question around what founders should actually think of Sendmator as — and that perception could matter as much as the underlying integration itself.

About

I kept seeing SaaS products depend on multiple communication providers for email, SMS, WhatsApp, OTPs, and user notifications. I wanted to build one developer-friendly layer that handles the communication infrastructure
