July 21, 2022 First annual subscription!

Feels crazy knowing that someone put this much faith in our product. We're slowly but surely building an actual business 💪

This person was recommended to us by someone (maybe in a newsletter)!

We're going to slow down a bit on marketing to focus on improving the product and onboarding. Let's hope it pays off 🤞

July 15, 2022 Second Customer, This Time After 2 Weeks

Looks like the hard work is finally starting to pay off 🎉

It took 6 months to get our first paying. Now it's taken only 2 weeks to get our second.

There's a lot of room for improvement, but it looks like we finally have a great product on our hands

June 29, 2022 First Paying Customer

Finally!!! After,
→ 6 months of development
→ 1200+ hours of work
→ 260 signups
→ 3 pivots

Senja has found it's first paying customer 🥳

There are makers that grow from zero to $1k MRR in a week and there are people like me that get their first paying customer after 6 months of hard work 😂

That being said, I'm super happy that Senja is officially a business! Can't wait to see how July goes now that we're picking up some steam.

June 15, 2022 Found a cofounder! Getting serious about Senja

I'm now working with the incredible @olly to turn Senja into the ultimate tool to collect, manage and share testimonials.

Growth has been pretty slow in the past few months, but I've finally gotten serious about building a business, and I'm sure working with someone else will help me stay motivated as I work full-time!

April 4, 2022 100 Users

After a very active month on Twitter, Senja got its first 100 signups! No paying customers yet, but a huge milestone!

While our main acquisition channel is Twitter, we got some users from IndieHackers and word of mouth via Senja's widgets. Finally picking up some steam!

January 2, 2022 Chose the idea and started building

I've used a bunch of services that make testimonial collection "easier", but I wasn't satisfied with their features, UX, and pricing.

I decided to build my own for my first build in public project of 2022.

I'm building it with Svelte, Tailwind, Hasura, Firebase Auth, Postgres, and NodeJs.
