Our founder was tired of wasting hours creating content, so she decided to create a platform to automate it.

Yeah—content creation usually isn’t “writing,” it’s a bunch of overhead: finding angles, outlining, drafting, formatting, pushing to the CMS, scheduling, then figuring out what actually worked.

What’s worked for me (and for teams I’ve helped) is turning content into a repeatable pipeline:

    1. Pick 1-2 “source inputs” per week

      • customer support tickets, sales calls notes, ICP questions, competitor gaps, your own analytics (pages losing traffic).
      • Don’t start with keywords. Start with problems people already have.
    2. Batch the work (don’t context-switch)

      • e.g., generate outlines for 10 topics in one sitting, then draft all 10, then do formatting/upload.
      • This alone can cut hours because you’re not reloading your brain 10x.
    3. Standardize the template

      • same structure every time (problem → why it matters → options → step-by-step → examples → FAQ).
      • Even small changes (consistent headings, consistent “what to include” checklist) make editing faster and improve output consistency.
    4. Separate “content production” from “distribution”

      • schedule in advance (even if you’re only pushing to 1-2 channels).
      • keep distribution rules simple: publish → newsletter blurb → social thread → internal link push.
    5. Benchmark with one simple score

      • Track: impressions, clicks/CTR, keyword ranking movement (if you use a rank tool), and time-to-first impression.
      • Most teams don’t need 20 metrics; they need to know which stage is broken (topic selection vs draft quality vs SEO basics).

If you’re specifically trying to automate the pipeline (topic research → outline → draft → schedule), I’ve used ScaleBlogger in the past for exactly that “research/create/manage/optimize/distribute faster” loop—mainly because it reduced my time spent on the boring parts instead of just generating text. https://app.scaleblogger.com/c/7e76faf1-9a0a-4c4c-9736-004c66d212a3?to=https%3A%2F%2Fscaleblogger.com%2F%3Futm_source%3Dindiehackers%26utm_medium%3Dcommunity%26utm_campaign%3Dscaleblogger_community%26utm_content%3D7e76faf1-9a0a-4c4c-9736-004c66d212a3

Curious though: what part is your biggest time sink right now—topic research, drafting/editing, or scheduling/distribution? If you tell me which, I can suggest a tighter workflow for that exact bottleneck.
