SEO Ladders

A few weeks ago I launched SEO Ladders as an all-in-one SEO platform. Keyword research, backlink tracking, AI visibility monitoring, brand trends, directory submissions, link exchange — everything.

Problem: I was building 10 features at 60% instead of 1 feature at 100%. Worse, I was competing with Ahrefs and Semrush on data tools.

As a solo founder. That math doesn't work. So I looked at the data. The one thing users kept coming back for was the blog writer. Everything else was noise.

I killed most of the product.

Gone: backlink tracking, AI visibility, brand trends, link exchange, outreach.

What's left is focused: SEO Ladders finds keywords you can actually rank for based on your domain strength, writes full SEO articles, and auto-publishes them to your site. You also get access to vetted spam free directories to submit to and technical health check tool. That's it.

What it does now:

- Researches keywords matched to your domain rating

- Generates SEO blog articles with citations, images, and YouTube embeds

- Auto-publishes to WordPress or via webhook

- Builds a monthly content calendar automatically

- Supports multilingual content

- Targets local SEO keywords

Every article follows Google's E-E-A-T guidelines. No spam.

No scaled content abuse. Just blogs that rank.

Lesson for other builders: if you're spread across 10 features and none of them are great, cut. It's painful but it's the fastest path to something people actually want.
