Google Search Results as a JSON API
Despite all the challenges, we've launched the public Beta a couple of days ago. We are hoping to collect some feedback and polish the loose edges before the final launch. What would you improve?
When you are working on a product meant for developers in a narrow niche, marketing is the main challenge. How do you reach out to your audience? Should you give them some use cases? Those questions are still an important aspect of our job at Serpentine.
After quick research, I realized I was not alone. We needed a fast, reliable and affordable API to get the search results for the bigger project. That's when the idea of Serpentine was born.
Initially, we just needed a simple outreach script to contact potential customers. The problem was - it involved scraping Google's search results page to get some links.

I just found this and have no idea how I'm going to use it in the future yet, but it's awesome! I love it! Putting this in my tool shed for later.
