We're launching a book for developers!

Jay Rogers @jaydrogers

We had such incredible feedback from @danpastori's course on Laravel + Vue.js development, we decided to revisit the entire series and add a ton more to it.

We've been only a two person development company since 2011. Our constraints force us to be creative, so Dan and I came up with a very strategic way on how we can build so much with such little manpower.

๐Ÿ‘‰ We'll be sharing our experiences in our upcoming book.

The Ultimate Guide To Building APIs and SPAs

What the book covers

โœ… Learn how to write your own JSON API using Laravel PHP
โœ… Secure your API using Laravel Sanctum, Socialite, and Passport
โœ… Prevent unauthorized access by implementing a proper permission structure
โœ… Create a single-page application using NuxtJS (a Vue.js framework )
โœ… Using the same code base, create an iOS and Android app using Capacitor

You'll be able to create two mobile apps from the same front-end code using a single command. Update once, deploy to all of the things! ๐Ÿ˜ฑ

What you'll learn to build

Dan and I have been hard at work making the learning experience as best as possible. This is not how to build another To-Do List app. You will actually be learning how we built ROAST, a coffee discovery app.

โœจ Learn from an app has real-world problems with real-world solutions. โœจ

We created 3 apps that all talk back to a centralized API:

You will learn how we built each step and how you can adopt these principles to your own application.

It's more than just a book

We'll be making a package available that includes:
โœ… API & SPA Guide Book in digital book format (PDF, MOBI, EPUB)
โœ… Immediate production source code repository access to ROAST
โœ… Immediate private forum access where you can ask question on our community

Current status of the book

We're targeting on having this book available in August. 1,000+ people are on our email list waiting for the book. We'll hold a launch sale on the day we launch.

๐Ÿ‘‰ Sign up on our mailing list to follow our progress and clinch the launch sale.

As always, we'll keep you posted on how this product turns out for us and what lessons we learn. Always be building, never stop learning. โœŒ๏ธ
