Serverless Cam

I launched on May 8th, and after pestering all my friends to upvote I managed to get a measly 12 upvotes. Then, on the next day, I woke up to like +100 upvotes out of nowhere. Funny thing is, I never should have released it at all because there was a bug that squished the webcam resolution a tiny bit. If anyone noticed, nobody mentioned anything! Overall it was very cool, think I just found my next obsession!

Worked on this for about a week and launched. The stack is React frontend with a Vercel Deployment. Learning React was on my todo list and I used the project to get it done. I went with a neumorphic design I've never tried before and it turned out well. Serverless Cam can record the screen as well as screen with webcam.

Came up with the idea at the Pioneer Hackathon. I left myself 20 minutes at the end to record a product demo, and I couldn't get Loom to work so I had to record the demo with my iPhone. I like to think thats why I didn't advance even though my project had a decent number of upvotes.
