Why I started

I am a location independent developer. I love learning new technology. I wanted to start the blog to share the things I was learning as I move forward.

To share tips and tricks and also how to guides. It makes it easier to learn something new by writing about it.

I also build my own SAAS products using these new things. As I do this I learn something new so I wanted a way to share that to help others.

NGINX hosting a site on Linode

I wanted to host my own personal site https://jameskenny.io on a Linode Linux server and run NGINX to host the static site. I've used Linode before and really recommend them. Also will be doing some work with hosting docker containers. Over the next few blog posts I'll go

Improving SEO

A great thing about having this blog has been that I needed to improve my SEO skills. Instead of hiring someone I've had to do it by myself and this has really been a huge help in my overall skill set.
