Love the idea! I would recommend working on the page UX. The top header as well as side navigation make the reading experience a bit cluttered. If you can simplify it so the user can focus on the amazing content you've put together - it'll be really helpful.
Today, we have launched our new Chargebee to Stripe Billing migration service! :tada:
We took a poll last year regarding the subscription billing system that is used most commonly by SaaS companies. Stripe and Chargebee came out to be the top two voted systems. This might not be a surprise, but upon further research, it turns out that most SaaS businesses who use Chargebee, use Stripe as the payment gateway. Here is the big gotcha, most SaaS founders and devs that we have talked to, are unaware that Stripe Billing is a product of Stripe and Stripe Billing is a direct competitor of Chargebee.
Stripe Billing was released mid-2018 and it was framed as a subscription billing system on top of Stripe. Using Stripe Billing + Chargebee together is like paying for two of the same car.
QUESTION: Who is currently using Chargebee alongside Stripe? Did you know Stripe Billing does everything Chargebee does?

No, but that´s a reason not to migrate to Stripe Billing if you want PayPal in combination with Stripe

You wouldn't be able to use PayPal in combination with Stripe. There's no integration. They are both payment processors that handle one time payments, invoicing, as well as recurring payments. The biggest difference lies in the functionalities that are provided by each. Stripe has an abundance of products that you don't get from PayPal such as fraud management, SQL-based business intelligence, etc.

Yes and that´s a reason to stay with Chargebee and not to migrate to Stripe Business, because they support PayPal and Stripe together

But why would you want to use two different companies, when one handles a lot more, at a lower cost? It's completely counterintuitive. You would never use Paypal and Stripe in combination with each other. Chargebee just does the same job that Stripe Billing and Braintree do. Why would you substitute those two for a third-party app that doesn't even handle the payment processing themselves?

Because some customers would rather pay by logging into their Paypal account and clicking the button instead of having to find and get out their credit card. I for example, memorized my Paypal email & password but not my CC.

Love this - how does your billing work for you? So I would pay stripe their normal transaction fee + billing fee and then a fee to you for your product?

That is correct, our pricing is gated based on revenue and is separate from Stripe fees.

We've been getting a lot of requests for adding Stripe subscriptions on Wordpress websites. Many solo founders who start a business, either don't have a website or use Wordpress to for initial marketing and selling services. So we created a Stripe Billing plugin for Wordpress.
Now you can drag-and-drop complex pricing pages, sign up forms, and self-service customer portals to your Wordpress website. The plugin will use the native Wordpress user management to create accounts and let your customers self-service their subscriptions!

This is a great way to start off the week. Today we are ranked as one of the top growing companies on growthranker.com with 50 paying customers and over $5k monthly recurring revenue. We released the new version of the product in August and since we have grown 400%.

Current challenges:
We are still looking for product-market-fit. SaaS is a huge market and finding sub-segment is challenging. We know we are great at saving time and resources for SaaS companies. Building a Stripe integration can take time, but depending on the pricing complexity of the SaaS startup, our value can be different.

Hi Shar, I just checked out Servicebot and it looks good, I have already bookmarked it for future usage / recommendation.
Regarding your challenge on product-market-fit, I have the same question while browsing through the site: who are the happy customers of Servicebot? Perhaps it will be helpful (for yourself) to look through the current customer list and (helpful for prospect and everyone else) put a few customer logos or even case studies in the website?

The majority are SaaS startups, but there is no common sub-segment that we can pinpoint, which makes the process of narrowing down a lot harder. UI billing toolkit is a new market and it's forcing us to put a lot of content out to raise awareness.
Great idea about case studies, we are currently in the process of writing a few.

Ah, I'm building a Shopify app now to help shopper improve their shop UX. Was tingling with a few standalone Saas idea but decided it'll be better to start off with something simpler as a non-tech :)

Hey @darafsheh! Love the product. One piece of feedback for you to do with what you will:
When I was looking around for solutions like Servicebot earlier in the year, I just couldn't get my head around the name "Servicebot". It just seemed so unrelated to what the product does that I couldn't get past the cognitive dissonance and I ended up using something else. Furthermore, "bot" companies leave a poor taste in my mouth as I find them to be mostly gimmicky; so not only did the name seem entirely unrelated, but it also added a sense of gimmick when approaching your brand. I didn't feel comfortable placing my entire billing system into your hands at this point.
Definitely not demanding you change your name, but thought I'd share my experience with Servicebot incase this becomes a common criticism :) I look forward to trying it for my next product!

Awesome. Ive always wondered how billflow was able embedd the new 'customer portal' in to the site and not as a redirect. Now as i understand from this post it was a partnered relationship since the early days.
Having a customer portal which is a redirect to another domain is confusing for some customers. I look forward to the integration and hopefully stripe will utilize all your efforts and continue to allow us to embed their customer portal vs a redirect. Great job on the sale, you and your family must be extremely happy!
