We finally went live and growth was really slow at first, but we eventually got to 10,452 signups as of this second. Gaining 10,200 within 48 hours.

IOS is out and we're officially launching the first phase of Sety to the whole.
This has the iOS, android platform for users, and an app for responders.
It's been a wholesome experience for me and everyone that worked to make this happen.
We will keep innovating and building amazing updates.
It took 6 weeks, but I'm finally done building the minimum viable product for Sety. I worked mostly nights and weekends, and I coded the whole thing in Javascript since that's what I'm the most comfortable with. In hindsight, there were a few features I built that probably could've waited until later. But I'm excited to start talking to users and see what they think about the product so far!
I came up with the idea of Sety.
I'd seen so many rape / domestic violence/police brutality cases in my country and globally. All of these peaked during the pandemic lockdown and I knew it was a global issue that required a speedy solution.
I thought we need an app where we can all feel safe and get the right type of help we need.
I did a little survey and I started building sety.io
