May 11, 2026 How I Used AI in a Simple Biodata App

When people think about AI products, they usually imagine coding copilots, chatbots, or image generators. I wanted to use AI in a much simpler and culturally relevant problem — marriage biodatas in India.

While building ShadiBiodata.com, I noticed something interesting: people from different regions, lifestyles, and backgrounds preferred completely different biodata designs. A modern metro-city user often liked minimal templates, while users from traditional families preferred detailed and structured formats.

So instead of showing random templates, we created our own recommendation agent.

We tagged every biodata template based on factors like education, city tier (Tier 1/Tier 2), culture, region, lifestyle, and design preferences. Then we feed user inputs into our agent, which scores and recommends the most suitable templates for that user.

Another interesting problem was local language typing. Many users want biodatas in Hindi, Marathi, or Gujarati, but are not comfortable typing in local keyboards. So we allow them to type naturally in English and then send the entire biodata to our AI agent.

Instead of doing literal translation like a normal Translate API, the AI rewrites the biodata in a culturally acceptable and natural format that actually feels human-written.

It’s a small product, but this made me realize AI does not always have to solve giant problems. Sometimes it can quietly improve very traditional workflows in creative ways.
