Why I Built ShareCookie
In a lot of workplaces, a simple "good job" or thumbs-up is the go-to way of recognizing someone's effort. It's nice, but often not enough. I believe recognition becomes truly powerful when it’s felt — when there’s a small but meaningful reward attached.
That’s why I created ShareCookie: a simple, fun way for teams to recognize each other's wins and turn good vibes into real, tangible rewards.
The goal? Make motivation an everyday thing, not just something that happens once a year at a performance review. And in doing so, build a stronger, more positive company culture where people actually want to show up and do their best.
What ShareCookie Does Today
Peer-to-peer recognition: Anyone can send a "cookie" to celebrate wins big or small.
Built-in rewards system: Cookies can be collected and exchanged for real perks or prizes.
Slack integration: Making recognition easy and seamless inside the tools teams already use.
Microsoft Teams: Coming soon
Where I'm Heading Next
Right now, I'm focused on:
Launching our Slack app beta — targeting teams that already use Slack heavily.
Building a simple dashboard for team leads to track engagement and morale.
Experimenting with different types of rewards — from gift cards to custom company perks.
Talking to early users to refine the experience and truly make recognition fun and sticky.
