Hello everyone, I'm extremely happy to announce my first product for this year, Sheepscript.ai!

Sheepscript.ai is a very easy-to-use AI-powered tool that generates social media posts or even articles from your own video or podcast. Whether you're a content creator or a podcast host, this tool is your go-to solution for effortlessly enhancing your social media and creating amazing articles for your audience.

This is the first version, considered an MVP! In the following weeks, I will focus on developing more features (at least one per week) such as:
- Saving your posts/articles into your account
- Improving transcript generation for files
- Add language support
- And much much more! 🚀

What's the current state after 5 days?

Well, a lot of good and bad things happened in the last few days.
Starting off with the good news: I got over 150 users and 50$ in revenue. To me, this looks like a big success. But how did it happen? To be honest I got no clue. The only marketing strategy I got was to launch on Producthunt and Uneed, and post on a few subreddits and Linkedin. Did not expect all this traffic and growth.

The other news is that I've managed to develop new features (down below) and reduce infrastructure costs.

2️⃣ Add a CTA when users don’t have enough GRASS
3️⃣ Improve social media post generation for X 🐦
4️⃣ Switch mail provider & improve email design ✉️
5️⃣ Add remove functionality for uploaded files 🗑️
6️⃣ Free credits for new users

But what about the bad news?
Well, to be honest, marketing sucks. Finding your ICP is not hard, but catching their attention and convincing them to use your product is hard as hell. From the first day, I've been trying to find FB groups, X communities, LinkedIn groups, and Subreddits where I could promote the tool. Offering discounts. Cold mailing content creators and podcasters. What was the result? Complete silence...

After a complete success on the first days, it's pretty demoralizing to face this silence. It makes you wonder: was all of this just a hype? is the product really useful? will someone ever use it in the future?

But it's the same as the gym, right?

You can't expect to see results overnight. It's hard and painful, especially the first few months. It's a completely new process that takes time and will get better and easier. You have just to show up.

This is why my plan is to keep building, keep improving, and most importantly promote it! Marketing has been one of my biggest challenges and for 2025 I'm determined to at least understand how it works and find the best way to successfully promote my product and this is what I encourage you to do. Never give up!
