I'm not a developer. I used Claude AI to build a Gantt chart web app that reads from Google Sheets, and I've been using it at work for months.

Last week I decided to clean it up and sell it on Gumroad for $19. The product works great — edit a row in Google Sheets, hit Refresh, and it shows up as a Gantt bar instantly. No database needed.

The hard part? Getting anyone to see it.

So far I've tried DEV.to (19 reads, now 0), Reddit (new account blocked), Hacker News (new account blocked from Show HN). Gumroad Discover won't show my product until I make my first sale.

It's a chicken-and-egg problem — you need traffic to get sales, but you need sales to get traffic.

Would love to hear how other indie hackers got their first sale. What worked for you?
