January 5, 2021 SheetUI First Payment!

I was just counting down to the days that my customers' trial ends, and keeping my fingers crossed hoping that they continue to stick around long enough so I could get paid. On this day, one of them did! At $19 MRR, It wasn't much, but it's a validation of the work I did. Here's to hoping my second customer see enough value to decide to stick around. $38 MRR here we go!

December 22, 2020 SheetUI V2 First Subscription Customer!

It took a while, but it finally happened! I did not do any marketing or customer outreach since V2 wasn't officially launched yet, so this is entirely organic traffic. Thanks to sites such as Gigazine and Stackshare that talked about SheetUI V1, I have a steady (albeit slow) amount of traffic coming in. Within a few days of switching my domain from V1 to V2, I got the coveted Stripe notification :)

July 8, 2020 Hit Frontpage on HackerNews!

Last I checked, 397 upvotes and 134 comments on HN, and 49 upvotes on ProductHunt (despite a botched launch), 15 upvotes on no-code subreddit. SheetUI is also tweeted about and shared round the world in the Twitterverse, and I gained 20 new followers! Everyone has been very positive in their response and some have also reached out to me personally for help with their use case.

Analytics shows I acquired about 14K visitors.

I'm really grateful for what happened. This seems like evidence of a good product market validation. It's time to build the paid feature now :D

Thanks everybody!

July 7, 2020 SheetUI Launched!

So from talking to people I see a need to quickly turn a spreadsheet of information into something visually pleasing. SheetUI is my response to that need. You give it a Google Sheet URL, pick a template, and tap in the columns where you want them to show up. In return you get a visually pleasing and responsive web page that you can embed on your site, or link to in your newsletter or chat with a client.
