May 8, 2020 New Version - 1.3.8

Slowly slowly I am trying to move away from Cocoa and towards SwiftUI. This version of Shepherd brings that goal closer to reality.

This version introduces improvements for creating categories and adding applications to those categories. It also introduces an improved low for user onboarding.

Thanks @armgitaar for the awesome feed. Some really great points there, some issues I know exist and I haven't had time to correct, others I think are really good mentions. Thank you.

September 20, 2019 Introduce Shepherd Pro (Paid Version)

I used Apple's new SwiftUI framework to remove the older AppKit legacy code in my Mac App. The app suffered with features, updates and bug fixes simply due to the fact that I was not used to AppKit, coming from an iOS background and using UIKit.

I used Appl'es new UI framework to make the app more responsive and to make it a bit more presentable.

September 20, 2019 5 paying customers

I updated my Mac app features and changed the model from a free application to a paid application. Some of the free users who loved the app bought the pro paid version with the newly included features. I am not too sure how I acquired those customers. The app has been on the store for some time now and users have downloaded it over the years. I did. bit of Google Adword PPC but that didn't really help for a Mac app.

To be honest I do need to advertise it more.

About

Everyday I was launching about 5 programs to begin development or work on a day to day basis. I thought to myself as a programmer why can't I click work and it launches all my work applications.
