Committed to growing Shooting Unicorns 🦄

We started Shooting Unicorns in 2017 as a playground for learning and shipping seemingly useless ideas with an open mind that it could become something more. Our vision was to build up a portfolio of niche products and services that could generate us passive income and/or eventuate into a startup.

However, this turned out to be incredibly difficult as we quickly learnt that building something we weren't passionate about was basically the same as building ourselves another job.

It took 3 years of learning, exploring and overcoming imposter syndrome to discover what we truly believed in creating value and solving problems for.

In 2020, we'll be creating courses on Shooting Unicorns to teach people how to bootstrap and ship ideas with React. We'll be marketing it as the "incomplete" frontend development course as our focus is to teach people how to use what's out there (open source libraries and services) to bootstrap and ship real products.

Can't wait to launch 🙈

You might consider expanding your audience to slightly less technical people... add courses to show people how to launch products in a low-code or no-code way. Maybe even do some live coding (e.g. go from idea to launch in an afternoon).
