August 12, 2023 Launched on ProductHunt!

We launched on ProductHunt on Aug 11 and made it to the top 5 top launches. What a day! Preparing it for a while. I focused on building a community, connecting with leaders on ProductHunt and making sure that I talk to a lot of people.

ProductHunt launches take a lot of time but I hope it gets more exposure to this awesome product.

July 28, 2023 Now upgraded to Bootstrap 5!

We created ShopFunnels using Bootstrap 4 and finally we finished the big revamp and upgrade to Bootstrap 5. It's more modern and even more cool now!

We upgraded all the templates, all the plugins and the core of the app itself. The mission is to make sure our customers and their customers get the best experience possible.

June 23, 2023 ShopFunnels builds smarter shops

I built ShopFunnels to be more than just a store. There is a rich marketplace for plugins with dozens of free plugins and capability to create beautiful landing pages.

It has dozens of ecom templates and in-built email marketing.

Getting ShopFunnels is like getting a complete solution to run your store online.

I noticed that you compare ShopFunnels to platforms like Shopify and BigCommerce but I couldn't find any references to a ShopFunnel API. How do you provide the 3rd party developer ecosystem that merchants on platforms like Shopify and BigCommerce rely on without an API?

Hi, in fact we do have a developer ecosystem. Since it's an independent script, you can make plugins for it and install it on the site itself just like you do on Wordpress

We have a very simple and powerful API that gives you complete control.

Best thing, it works with our entire Funnel range of products (ShopFunnels, CloudFunnels & CourseFunnels)

I did hop into your developer section but I couldn't find an API reference for an existing webservice like a REST or GraphQL API. For a couple of example scenarios:

        • If the merchant uses a 3rd party OMS, how does that OMS remotely retrieve and modify the Order resource in the merchants ShopFunnels store?
        • If the merchant uses a 3rd party IMS, how does that IMS remotely retrieve and modify the inventory information for a Product or SKU resource in the merchants ShopFunnels store?
        • If the merchant wants to sell on a channel like Instagram, how does Instagram insert a fully composed Order into the merchants ShopFunnels store?

Are there existing endpoints in your API that enables these scenarios today? If so, I'd actually be interested in adding ShopFunnels to our integrations roadmap. The project I'm working on, https://violet.io, is an iPAAS that exclusively does integrations with ecom platforms and we're always on the lookout for more platforms with mature API's.

Hi! ShopFunnels is a self-hosted script like Wordpress. The infrastructure I have in there is 'plugin' based not REST based. It's similar to Wordpress plugins infra.

It's potentially possible to create a plugin that exposes functionality using REST but I imagine that there are lesser use cases for that then simply making a plugin, for example, for a new payment system that we haven't implemented.

About

I wanted to create an easy to use Self-hosted ecom platform that users can install on their own websites and sell any product they want. Perfect for bloggers and marketers.
