Shopgram
Shopgram is a search engine for Shopify stores.
We launched the new monetized product for Shopgram and we made the sale the day after we launched it!
Some good news!
We haven't even let our previous customer know about this update and it was a great relief to see that the users somehow connect with Shopgram!
Our data was good and our reports on the state of Shopify and dropshipping were really like by readers, so we partnered up with Statista.
Our data was featured there and 8 of our studies were published on Statista that were about Shopify, dropshipping, and geolocations of stores.

After lots and lots of surveys and interviews with merchants and store owners we decided to add some nifty new features to it:
1- Social media info and links - So when we crawled the sites, at first it was not showed to the public, but the users showed interest, so we added it
2- Dropshipping information - Lots of the users were dropshippers and they were looking to find suppliers, competitors, pricings and more so we added that info in as well!

So we started showcasing our product on where most innovators hang out, on ProductHunt and most people there seemed to like the product.
Had an initial boost on traffic and we started to gather feedbacks on what features they're most interested in and how we can improve the product for them

It was done! We crawled around 750K stores and millions of products that were on Shopify.
Started showing it to some early innovators and they absolutely loved it!
The filtering of products and stores was working seamlessly and evertything was getting ready to launch!

We came up with the idea of Shopgram when we saw a large majority of these two audiences:
A) Lots of friends who were Shopify partners had trouble getting in touch with Shopify store owners.
B) Marketers and Agencies who wanted to know about Shopify store owners and how they can find them.
