We've decided to refocus our efforts on E-commerce customers who are selling through Shopify on Facebook Live streams. Our new product features massive performance improvements over v1, cuts battery consumption by half while streaming, and increases video/audio quality substantially.

We decided to rebuild our API using Netlify because of the massive benefits from infrastructure management and speed of development. It was surprisingly quite easy to migrate from Python to Node 12. The deployment process on Netlify is so quite and painless.
You can now have checkout links sent to your customers once they've purchased products from your live streams! This allows you to automatically close the sale, as opposed to the traditional way where you would have to manually send the links.
You can now connect your Shopify store to Shoppe Live in order to take orders during your live streams and show your products on the overlay.
We launched an early access version of the app to some of our existing customers who this product would be valuable to! Our price to buy into early access was $10 per month. We had around 1,100 of our current customers that signed up to be notified when the app goes live!
Apple approved our first production build of the app to be distributed to customers!
Facebook finally gave us production access to their live API. What. a. nightmare.
