ShortPurify

I have been trying to build a SaaS for a very long time. But I had a pattern. I would get excited build something almost complete then lose interest and move on. This happened project after project. I had a lot of finished ideas that I never completed.

So I made a challenge for myself: build one project from start to finish and actually launch it. No matter what happens. Even if it is not perfect. Even if nobody uses it. I was going to see something through for once.

The idea for my project came from a YouTube video where someone built a Python script that converted videos into short clips using Artificial Intelligence. It was very powerful but completely inaccessible. You needed to know how to run code just to use it. There was no frontend, no user interface, nothing. I thought: what if I build a website around this script and go further than the script. Let people publish their clips directly to TikTok, YouTube Shorts and Bluesky without leaving the ShortPurify application.

So that is what I built. ShortPurify is not a personal project. It is proof, to myself that I can finish what I start. The fact that you are reading this means I actually did it. That alone already makes it worth building ShortPurify.
