Shotra
AI Image to Video Generator
Hey everyone, I’ve been building Shotra — an AI video app that turns a single image into a short video.
The initial idea was simple: most image-to-video tools either lock you into one model, push a subscription too early, or make casual usage feel expensive. I wanted something more practical.
So I built a tool where you can:
Generate videos from a single image
Choose between multiple models like Kling, Runway, Veo, and Hailuo
See the cost before generating
Pay as you go instead of committing to a monthly plan
Keep your generated videos stored permanently (no short expiry window)
I’ve also started adding more opinionated workflows on top of the raw generator:
Product photo → promo video
Pet photo → animated video
LinkedIn headshot → talking-style video
The goal is to make AI video generation feel less like “learn a complicated creative suite” and more like:
→ pick the right workflow
→ upload one image
→ get a usable result fast
A few things I’m still figuring out:
Which use case has the strongest pull early on
Whether people care more about “multiple models in one place” or vertical tools
How much pricing simplicity matters compared to pure output quality
If you’ve used AI video tools before, I’d love to know:
What’s the most frustrating part of current tools?
Would you rather have one flexible generator, or more guided tools for specific use cases?
Does pay-as-you-go feel more appealing than subscriptions here?
Happy to share the link if anyone wants to try it and give blunt feedback.
About
We built Shotra because using AI video models still feels fragmented — different tools, different credits, different workflows. Shotra puts SOTA models in one place with transparent pricing and guided tools.
