Sidebar App
Create workspaces of your daily webapps.
The marketing website for Sidebar app is now officially launched! https://thesidebar.app
The website is built on nodejs/express with ejs templates. There is a simple account registration system and a licensing server as well.
It's a little bit ugly but I think it does an OK job of communicating the software to the users. What do you think?
I've been working on thesidebar.app for the last two weeks or so.
The app is written completely in Electron, with a marketing website and licensing server written in node.js.
Interestingly, the app MVP itself only took about 30% of my effort. The rest of my work has been on the website, licensing server, account system, and build and distribution pipeline.
Everything's finally ready to go though, so now I'm going to start sending the Alpha version to my friends and see what happens!
