Same story for wikis. Same story for ChatGPT. The whole help layer for PC gaming assumes you'll leave the game to get help. Every time you leave, the feel of the game evaporates. So I built Sidekick AI: a real-time voice AI that watches your game and coaches you while you stay in it.
How it works:
Vision reads your live screen so it knows which boss you're fighting and what phase you're in
Voice handles the rest. Speak naturally, get coached naturally.
A 3D avatar shows up alongside the game with personality and reactions
What was supposed to be the main feature was the voice + vision loop. The 3D avatar started as a joke. Then early testers kept saying the same thing: "it feels like a friend who's actually watching me play, not a tool." Now the avatar is half the product.

What I'd love feedback on:
If you've played a Soulslike or a hard RPG and ever broke flow to check a wiki, would a voice-first companion that watches your screen actually solve that for you, or is the muscle memory of alt-tab too entrenched?
Pricing shape: free Steam demo + free voice minutes/day + paid credits + Plus subscription. Right shape for a pre-launch consumer game tool, or should the paid layer wait until post-launch?
