You can now back them up and synchronize them between providers.
This is a big addition to SimpleBackups as we're closing the circle of backing up all aspects of modern applications: files, database and now storage.

MySQL Binlog support:
With the support of MySQL binlog, you can now make incremental backups for your MySQL databases!

Our backup notification system started feeling a bit dusty and we really wanted to dive into it and bring it to another level 🚀 (yes ... another rocket icon, ... I know ).

As always, when our users ask for something this is the moment we know we have to jump on it and make it happen, that's what happened and it is now live!

By the way, thanks to everyone who participated in sharing what they wanted to see happening in our "notification" release 🙏🏻 !

We've just released a new version of SimpleBackups.
In this release, we focused on UI/UX and paved the way for more cool features.
Lot of challenges, and still a lot of work to do, but thanks to the feedback of our users we have a clear path to follow!

Thanks to all your feedback (special thanks to Jason) we've refreshed our UI with an easier navigation, less bloat and more consistency across all pages. This also paves the way for us to add more useful features down the road.

🎯 Quick actions & redesigned drop downs
We simplified the way to trigger any action and made it accessible from any listing as well as from the backup page.

📌 You now have a dashboard
Quickly access main sections, create backups, view last activity and get a quick view on your plan usage.​

🔎 Refreshed backup page
We've rebuilt this page from the ground up! All backup info with less click, and a clear action menu.

We are very happy about the result and would like to thank everyone who showed us some support. We 💜 you.

We finally made the move to ProductHunt home page.

This has been a pretty intense year and now that customer feedback is really strong and the fact that our product is robust and offers the main features we envisioned we thought it was the right time to publish it on ProductHunt.

We don't have specific expectations about that publication but this will be a step stone for SimpleBackups in the long customer acquisition journey we have in front of us.

We would love to share another update with everyone. We are always working on something exciting for SimpleBackups to make your life easier.

💪 Core improvements in this update:

• Late backups detection
• Automatic retries of late backups
• Better distributing of backup runs across servers

👓 Smart features in this update include:

• Listing of upcoming scheduled runs
• Running backup show an estimated completion time
• The average time it takes to complete each backup
• The total time spent for a currently running backup
• A heads up when a currently running backup is taking more than usual
• Automatic detection of backup run overlapping possibility (when backups actually take longer than the set backup frequency)
