Siteguardian.dev
A better way to monitor your websites
Released the first feature of 2021.
Improvements to the UI of the SSL checks add more details on which specific validation failed, succeed, or returned a warning.
This will allow users to have a clearer view of the status of their domain SSL and a clear understanding of the issues and validations on each run.
This also prepares the UI for additional validations that will be added at a future date.
Opened the platform for registration on our free plan to start collecting feedback from real users.
This is the MVP we are launching with our free plan and the most basic SSL check but the feedback so far has been already invaluable.
From here working on the public roadmap for 2021

Finished the implementation of the core SSL downloader and parser.
This is the core of the SSL checker itself as well as the baseline architecture for the rest of the security checks.
There is still work to be done to complete the final set of checks but overall we are progressing nicely.

Finished the core of the MVP that provides the following functionality:
- Authorization and Authentication
- Subscription management
- Stripe Integration
- PlausibleAnalytics integration
Overall, this offers the bulk of the functionality and only a handful of tasks are needed before launching the BETA

For a long time, SSL monitoring was a pain point in the e-commerce world. Siteguardian was born and expanded from that initial need to monitor SSL expirations.
Additionally, siteguardian.dev is the perfect kind of project to test the technology stack that I been experimenting with for building highly scalable solutions.

About
Siteguardian was born of the need to have a single tool to monitor critical site security, performance, and availability metrics that are often overlooked; starting with SSL security and expiration monitoring.
