October 22, 2025 Store owners shouldn't need to be developers to monitor uptime - so I built SiteStable

Hey Indie Hackers! πŸ‘‹

I just launched SiteStable - uptime monitoring for store owners who aren't developers.

The Problem:

When I started researching uptime monitoring, I found two extremes:

β€’ Enterprise tools like Pingdom ($50+/month with features most small stores never use)

β€’ Basic tools that require you to manually configure endpoints, write regex rules, etc.

Most store owners just want to know: "Is my site working? Can customers check out?"

What I Built:

SiteStable uses platform detection (Shopify/WooCommerce/WordPress) to automatically monitor the pages that matter:

- Homepage

- Product pages

- Cart & checkout

- Customer accounts

No configuration. Just paste your URL and go.

Pricing:

- Free tier: 1 website, 10 monitors, 3-min checks

- Pro: $7/mo for 3 websites, unlimited monitors, 2-min checks (coming soon)

Early adopter offer: First 50 users get 3 months of Pro for $1 when it launches.

Looking for:

Feedback from anyone who's dealt with website downtime or uses monitoring tools. What am I missing? What would make this actually useful?

Thanks! πŸ™

About

Existing monitoring tools are either too expensive ($50+/mo) or too complex (require regex, API knowledge, CS degree). Store owners need something in between.
