SketchDaily.io is now... SketchDaily! Under sketchdaily.com!

Overall, exciting step but so much more to do!

Although SketchDaily.io laid dormant for almost 3 years, noticing that I continue to receive ~800 visitors per month, with 80% organic search traffic, I felt like I'm letting those few visitors down.

With things I've learned in the last 3 years, before I make actual functional and content updates, I wanted to get some serious housekeeping done.

I basically rewrote the whole API, still in Go, but adopting a much more modular pattern and got rid of a lot of the spaghetti-code from the early MVP days. I released it alongside small frontend changes to use the new endpoints.

The next step is a rewrite of the frontend with a design refresh as the app is starting to look quite dated and again there was plenty of spaghetti code involved too. So the goal is, same as with backend changes, to set myself up for easier changes and improvements. First public "beta" launch, shared across HN, ProductHunt and other startup and side-project listing sites.

ProductHunt launch was quite successful and ended up being featured, HN post overall was a flop although I did receive some valuable feedback and ended up making some positive landing page changes.
